Kindergarten
MCA private Christian Kindergarten program excellence, developing Christlikeness
Jr. Kindergarten
MCA Junior Kindergarten children are invited into a nurturing environment where they can grow socially and cognitively by being offered developmentally appropriate activities that work on a variety of skills. Jr. Kindergarten focuses on skills such as drawing, cutting, gluing, counting and some printing. Jr. Kindergarten also teaches the students social skills such as sitting together on a carpet and interacting as a group, sharing and playing together.
Sr. Kindergarten
The MCA Senior Kindergarten program is a combination of intentional teaching and a variety of play opportunities for our children to explore and learn new concepts and ideas. Sr. Kindergarten students concentrate on learning the letters of the alphabet, phonemic awareness, numbers and printing. Assessment is the starting point for instruction in the Kindergarten program as it plays an important role in planning instruction, guiding the student’s next steps, and evaluating progress and achievement. An important aspect of the Sr. Kindergarten program is learning to positively interact with each other as God’s image bearers and to realize that God has given each of us a special gift and purpose.

Why MCA
Focus on Students as Individuals
MCA aims to provide a challenging academic program, serving to empower our young learners through individualized learning and on-going assessments. Teachers take the time to address the learning needs of all students, ensuring that they are motivated and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
Focus on Teaching and Living out a Christian Worldview
MCA offers all students an opportunity to seek out their formation of a life-guiding purpose, while we present and clearly advocate for a Christian worldview that is grounded in biblical truths. Students are asked to think critically about their beliefs and are encouraged to ask questions, wrestle with difficult issues, and build their faith to defend their faith walk.
Focus on a Community-Based Education
MCA has a qualified, caring, dedicated, and committed group of teachers to educate and guide our students. In addition, we strongly believe in partnering with our families, alumni, and community partners to enhance the educational experience for all students. In order to enrich the learning experiences of our students, we engage all experiential learning opportunities.
